Product Announcement - September 2024

New feature:

  1. Enhanced admin control: Users with administrative status (admins) can deactivate other users within the Merchant Hierarchy, (including other admins and business users) offering more flexibility and control over user management.

Enhancements:

  1. Automatic logout on deactivation: In the merchant hierarchy, when a business user is deactivated, they will now automatically be logged out, keeping user management streamlined and secure.
  2. Consistent role titles across pages: Aligned the role titles in the User Permissions List with those on the Create User page. ‘Portal merchant admin’ is now consistently labelled as ‘business admin,’ and ‘portal business user’ as ‘business user’ across all relevant pages.
  3. Clear ‘Set Primary’ option: In the merchant hierarchy, admins can designate the main location for a business user. The ‘Set Primary’ option is visible next to all locations - except the current primary location.
  4. Improved location display: Locations are now shown in a convenient dropdown format, organised by country/branches, to make navigation faster and simpler.
  5. Request new payment method updates: When sending a request for customers to update their payment method, the existing method will be unchecked by default, so end-customers will only see the request to add the new payment method in their email.
  6. Automatic start and end dates: New subscriptions now inherit the plan’s start and end dates by default, making setup quicker and more efficient. Users still have the flexibility to adjust these dates as needed.

Refinement:

  1. Consistent account name: We’ve made adjustments to ensure that the settlement account name is now presented uniformly across the portal and backend, providing full transparency and accuracy in all settlement details.
