Customer-paid card transaction fees will no longer be supported as part of Ezypay's response to the RBA card surcharging reforms and will need to transition to a merchant-paid model before the reforms take effect on 1 October 2026.
If your business currently applies customer-paid card transaction fees, we strongly recommend reviewing your pricing arrangements as soon as possible. You should consider how card payment costs will be managed going forward and whether any changes to your membership, subscription, product or service pricing may be appropriate for your business.
If you do not take any action, your card transaction fee configuration will be transitioned in accordance with the change process and communications provided to your business.
Failure to review your pricing arrangements may impact the net revenue you receive from card transactions once the transition occurs. As every business's circumstances are different, we recommend seeking independent professional advice where appropriate.
